SHOULD THIS BE AN OVERRIDING QUALITY FOR LEADERS?

'I got your back' is an idiom. It appears to have a military reference from WW2 meaning someone who is defending your rear guard so you can safely advance. In latter years it has come to mean someone who protects you, or who looks out for you. If you do a Google search on Leadership Qualities, the search comes up with 2,490,000,000 ( I kid you not!) results!! Most articles are pretty repetitive and come up with qualities such as:
